Dr. Carmelo Ferlito (Verona, Italy, 1978) is the CEO of the Center for Market Education (CME), a think-firm operating in Malaysia and Indonesia in the fields of market intelligence, business consulting and training services.
Dr. Ferlito holds a PhD in Economic History (2007) and a Master’s Degree in Economics (2003) from the University of Verona in Italy. He currently is an Adjunct Professor at Taylor’s University in Malaysia and a Faculty Member at Universitas Prasetiya Mulya in Indonesia.
As an economist and a business consultant, he has provided services for multinational companies around the world (particularly in the livestock sector) and prestigious institutions such as the European Union, Asian Development Bank and Bank Negara Malaysia.
In the poultry industry, he has been active promoting technological solutions in Asia since 2009, cooperating with or consulting for firms such as Chore-Time, Petersime and Jamesway. He is also a contributor to Poultry & Meat Asia.
